All of Me, All Around Us

“All of Me, All Around Us.”는
다섯 명의 작은 캐릭터들을  중심으로 펼쳐진다.
처음엔 각각 독립된 존재로 만들어졌지만,
완성된 뒤 돌아보니
어느새 나 자신의 내면을 닮아 있었다.

대담해 보이지만 수줍음이 많은 Ssun,
정의롭고 용감한 Candlelit,
감정 기복이 심하고 우울한 Cloumy,
겁이 많고 조용한 Forest Fairy,
엉뚱하고 호기심 많은 Fluffy Fairy.

모두 다른 성격을 지녔지만,
이들은 결국 내 안에 공존하는
다섯 가지의 자아이다.
나는 이 작은 존재들을 통해
“내 안의 나”를 마주하고,
동시에 관람자 또한 자신의 내면 어딘가에 있는
모습들과 마주하길 바란다.
이 전시는 결국 ‘나와 우리, 그리고 우리 안의
모든 나’ 에 대한 이야기다.

All of Me, All Around Us.

Hansol Sun Solo Exhibition


“All of Me, All Around Us.” is the first solo exhibition by Hansol Sun,
featuring five small yet expressive characters.
At first, each of them was created as an independent being,
but when the artist looked back after completing them,
she realized they had somehow come to reflect her own inner world.

There is Ssun, bold yet shy.
Candlelit, righteous and brave.
Cloumy, moody and melancholic.
Forest Fairy, timid and quiet.
And Fluffy Fairy, curious and whimsical.

Though each has a distinct personality,
they all coexist within the artist—
five different selves forming one complete being.
Through these small figures, the artist faces
the many versions of herself,
and hopes that viewers, too, may discover
something of their own within them.

Ultimately, this exhibition tells a story about
me, us, and all the selves that live within us.
