북촌의 오래된 골목마다 초록의 번짐이 한창입니다.
오늘 우리가 마주하는 것은 거창한 풍경이 아닙니다.
무심코 지나쳐버릴 뻔한 작은 이웃들과 다시 오지 않을
찰나의 순간들입니다.

다섯 명의 작가들은 각자에게 주어진 고유한 '미션'을
나침반 삼아 골목을 유영했습니다.
빛을 기다리고 바람이 잦아들기를 바라며 식물과
가만히 눈을 맞추었습니다.
그리고 마치 한 마디의 독백을 적어 내려가듯, 필름 한
장 한 장에 그 작고 다정한 존재들을 새겨 넣었습니다.

전시장 안으로 투명한 빛이 스며들고, 유리창 너머로는
계절을 머금은 식물들이 보입니다.
이 공간의 빛과 풍경 속에 수집된 시선들을 가만히
걸어 두었습니다.
완벽하게 연출된 사진이라기보다, 안과 밖의 경계가
부드럽게 이어지는 곳에서 창밖의 생명들과 어우러져
입체적인 이야기를 건네는 진솔하고 사적인
기록들입니다.

자라나는 것들이 건네는 이 조용한 모노로그에,
당신의 시간도 따뜻하게 포개어지기를 바랍니다

<A Monologue on Growing Things>

In every old alley of Bukchon, green is softly
spilling over.
What we encounter today is not a grand landscape.
It is the small neighbors we might easily have
passed by, and the fleeting moments that will never
return.

Guided by the unique missions given to them as
their compass, five artists drifted through the alleys.
They waited for the light, hoped for the wind to
settle, and quietly met the gaze of plants.
Then, as if writing down a single line of monologue,
they inscribed these small and tender beings onto
each frame of film.

Transparent light filters into the exhibition space,
and beyond the windows, plants holding the season
in their leaves come into view.
Within this interplay of light and scenery, we have
gently hung the collected gazes of the artists.
Rather than perfectly staged photographs, these
works are sincere and intimate records—images
formed where the boundary between inside and
outside softly dissolves, and where the lives beyond
the window join them to tell a layered story.

May your own time, too, be warmly folded into this
quiet monologue offered by all that grows.
