오래된 주택을 고쳐 갤러리로 탈바꿈 시킨 공간으로
그 이름처럼 공공으로 열려있으며 성별, 국적을 초월하여
끝없이 스파크가 튀는 공간을 꿈꿉니다.
또한 공간은 젊은 예술가들을 지원하며 지역 주민들의 쉼터가 되는 시설의 역할을 자처합니다.
멀리서 온 관광객들, 마을에 사는 주민들,
누구든 편하게 들어와 전시를 보면서, 또 마당을 거닐면서
예기치 못한 기쁨과 편안함을 누리길 바랍니다.
Space Thunder is a gallery run by Thunder Comics.
It is a space that has been transformed from an old house into a gallery
Like its name, it is open to the public and dreams of an endlessly sparky space across gender and nationality.
The space also supports young artists and serves as a shelter for local residents.

스위스 ECAL에서 공부한 일곱 명의 디자이너로 이루어진 디자인 콜렉티브 OBI의 두 번째 이야기, 이스케이프 이펙트 (escape) effect’가 열립니다.
이번 전시에서 OBI는 도심 속에서 살아가는 디자이너의 시선을 통해, 자연을 동경하는 도시인의 감정을 탐구합니다.
‘이스케이프 이펙트’는 단순한 탈출이 아니라, 도시 안에서도 순간적으로 떠오르는 작은 상상의 ‘이스케이프’를 다룹니다.
조명, 담요, 의자, 툴박스 등 캠핑에서 착안한 작업들은 현실과 환상, 실용성과 감성 사이의 경계에서 만들어졌으며, 각기 다른 방식으로 도시인의 내면적 탈출을 이야기합니다.
이번 전시는 우리가 찾는 자연이 도시 안에도 존재할 수 있는지, 그 가능성을 묻는 공간을 열어둡니다. 관람객들이 잠시 머물러 숨을 고르고, 스스로를 회복하는 작은 시간이 되기를 바랍니다.

The second chapter of OBI, a design collective of seven designers who studied at ECAL in Switzerland, presents Escape Effect.
In this exhibition, OBI explores the urban longing for nature through the perspective of designers living in the city.
Escape Effect is not about a literal departure, but about small, fleeting moments of imagined “escape” that emerge within urban life.
Inspired by camping, the works—ranging from lighting, blankets, chairs, to toolboxes—are created at the boundary between reality and fantasy, utility and emotion. Each piece tells a different story of an inner escape experienced by city dwellers.
This exhibition opens up a space that asks whether the nature we seek might also exist within the city itself. We hope it becomes a brief pause where visitors can linger, catch their breath, and find a moment of quiet restoration.
